On November 13-14, 2023, our university hosted a special event – the Familiarization Trip (Fam Trip), which was attended by representatives from various parts of the world, namely Vietnam, Nigeria, Kenya, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. The purpose of this meeting was not only to showcase the charms of the capital of Poland but above all to discuss potential collaboration in the field of recruiting international students.

The first day began at the university, where the international delegation gathered. During the meeting, representatives from different countries had the opportunity to learn more about our university, its academic programs, and the requirements for international students. After the official part, the delegation went for a walk in the charming Old Town, discovering its landmarks and history. The evening concluded with a dinner in a traditional Polish restaurant. The atmosphere was full of enthusiasm and positive energy, and the meeting at the table facilitated the building of relationships between representatives of different cultures.

On the second day, the delegation visited the city’s key points, learning about its fascinating history and culture. A visit to the Łazienki Królewskie, a stroll through Nowy Świat and Krakowskie Przedmieście were just a few of the attractions that fascinated the international participants.

A Fam Trip in Poland is not only an opportunity for educational promotion but also a chance to build cooperation between different cultures and nationalities. Meetings of this kind are crucial for the development of international collaboration and the building of a global academic community.
